This particular album I think I listen to way too much lately and not enough of JMT or of some Gregorian Chant. This album as you have wonderfully played one of his beautiful songs, has captured many a soul.
I’m not at all familiar with this, Pia - it is beautifuuly sung and the images fit so well, especially welcome is the abundant end, the promise of plenty.
I don’t know how many times I’m going to come in here to say “Thank you for this, Pia” –but then I listen to the lullaby again and go somewhere in peace, not realizing that STILL didn’t say a word here. 5 times at least.
It’s just beautiful, Pia. Thank you. I’ve never heard it before either; I only know a few of Josh Groban’s songs.
I couldn’t help but hear the hope, despite the fact that “the world has brought darkness”. Ann’s comment about the abundant end and the promise of plenty - for this we must continue to pray, and I think particularly, at this moment, of all who are being terrorized and slain in Kenya. I just read an article from the newsletter from Madonna House (Catherine Doherty) concerning another miracle of the sun (as took place in Fatima), but it happened in Ghana this past December.
*sniff* - I LOVE lullabies and this one is truly special. Have a blessed new week - sorry that I do not comment so often, but I read each one of your posts!
