Testament

This is how I can summarize my brief life of 68 years. If I could start again, I’d choose the same things the Lord has chosen for me. Because I’m convinced that everything He did for me in my lifetime, along with every event which happened along the way belong to Him, the Lord. And I can only feel gratitude for this.
When I go, I will not be apart from you. Love cannot die, and during my whole lifetime, the only thing I did, the only thing I knew how to do was love you.

Beautiful.
Yes, and a wonderful idea, to have Padré Salvatore’s own final thoughts as a keepsake. I don’t think I’ve seen that here.
“If I could start again, I’d choose the same things the Lord has chosen for me.”
This is so precious and humble!
What a generous and tender sentiment! He must have brought you much consolation and support in your visits together. God HAS blessed you both! Cathy
He sounds to me like a man totally affirmed in his priesthood, a true servant of God, who liked nothing better than doing what he felt called to do - right to the end- as this consoling testament proves. I’m sure you’re delighted to have the photo and the words, Pia, as Cathy says you and he are both blessed this way.
“Love cannot die”- It must be a support for us all the time.
If we have to do something here is to learn to love , because love can make us immortals.
Precious Testament for you Pia and touching for us.
Thank you!

I am so sorry for the loss of your friend and spiritual mentor. He was obviously a beautiful man. Such affirming thoughts from a man about to meet his God.
