Hush, I can't imagine your husband just jumps up and down to dance! Weren't you going to take ballroom dancing lessons a while ago? That'd be pretty hard if that's what he does!

Gab, I thought I saw DD there, too! :-) I was hoping for Ottawa (and something in Italy, too..) but I'll settle for your back yard.
Actually, Matt Harding has done other videos, and there is one of him in Venice.

Ann, the Giant Causeway scene looks surreal (and even fake, but then I've seen other photos and WOW! What an incredible place!) There is a scene in another video of Matt's, where he is dancing on a boulder that is stuck in a crevice, with a 1000 foot drop under him. He's courageous too, as proven by the scene of him dancing near the armed guard in the demilitarized zone in Korea!

This video was shown on tv during news time, the last item shown last Tuesday evening. I didn't hear the name of the guy, so I just put in "dancing" on the youtube search and he popped out immediately. The news folks said he's been getting millions of hits every day because of the optimism and good feelings his video generates. I've sent links to all my friends and family, as it seems these days everybody needs something to smile about.

Glad the weather is so good, Pia, just right for your dancing feet.

Ha! I LOVE it!! And now I see where my husband learned to dance -- Papua, New Guinea!

:-)

I think something made you think of "dance with joy" and you found this, and for that, I am most grateful.

I've had a little more time now to study them....and my favourites are 20 and 22 - 4th and 6th from last. All those beautiful flowers tumbling out of the pots - it's really a beautiful shot, Pia, and as for the watering - I see you've figured out a perfect solution!

A bag of frozen peas placed on or under the kneecap, and chocolates placed directly on the tongue. (Careful--I got these instructions mixed up once..)

Bon journo, Pia! I'm just back from Italy and I visited Assisi too. You have captured many of the beautiful icons - I was a bit disappointed at not being allowed to take pictures indoors but i understand th reason behind it.
When we were there there was a huge stage being erected right in front of the church and tv cameras etc It loked like there was going to be an outdoor televised Mass as the stage resembled an altar - to me anyway.
there was a great sense of peace there and i liked the way the brothers/ friars were present to the tourists - at the gates and entrances and also in the churches themselves.
I saw a little blind girl with her family and noticed how the faces of the parents lit up when the Franciscan got up from his prayers to speak to them.
I really. really loved Italy, Pia. Thanks for your photos here.

Happy belated birthday, Br. Freddie. I have found that chocolate cake works wonders for practically any kind of pain. "But I don't know what they are like in Kazakhstan". :)
